DEEP (Dynamic Electrochemical Energy Process)

human environment

The DEEP (Dynamic Electrochemical Energy Process) group, based on the School of Energy and Environment, City University of Hong Kong, is dedicated to advancing sustainable energy technologies. DEEP focuses on understanding and modulating electrochemical cells for sustainable energy conversion and storage applications, including fuel cells, electrolyzers, and batteries.

We are interested in the following general research topics:

  1. Developing multi-scale in-situ/operando experimental setups to monitor energy processes;

  2. Understanding the complex mass and energy transport for electrochemical cells;

  3. Designing high-performance energy materials;

  4. Fabricating energy devices.
